The ice is just now starting to freeze solid again, and we are all super hopeful there is a moment this summer when the lake is smooth as glass. Last year, for a precious and extraordinary two weeks, the lake was perfectly smooth and SO FUN. Uncle Josh helped us make the skate-sail things from PVC pipe and it was just absolutely beautiful and incredibly fast and fun.
