Four of us, all men who married into the Parker family (Jessica family), rode our bikes from St. Paul to Stillwater, watched the US tie last minute in the world cup and then rode home. fun times. Selfie here from Brian, and that deer really was that close.

She was literally asleep 10 minutes prior to this photo being taken. Wake up, go get a pea! She loves her garden.

We took the kids to the Pride Parade in downtown Minneapolis. Jessica had been before but it was new to all of us. A wonderful, loving parade of happy people. But also sorta corporate in nature. EVERY company is trying to get in on that BIG GAY MONEY. Best Buy, Target, banks, pretty much every big company had some sorta float or something. And every Democratic politician was there (see Jessica high fiving Al Franken below). The kids had good fun and raked in some serious loot.

This was fun.

So I photographed Obama the other day, even got to ride inside the presidential motorcade for two days. Great fun and a real learning experience. I blogged about it on Flash Garvin, a fancy little blog I keep at work. Here are a few of my favorite photos.
