DOUBLE BARREL BAILEY
I turned around and found this wonderful scene on a recent date night with a couple 6-year-old girls I love. My wife and I were adamant early on: no play guns in our house! But soon sticks were weaponized, quickly turned into a instruments of mass slaughter. I realize now (with a whopping 10-years of parenting wisdom) that all we can do is try to keep our kids safe, fed and loved. Expecting to control much else is futile. POWER IN YOUR RIGHT HAND
Art has a wonderful Piano teacher in Sharon Kaplan. She teaches him beautiful music but also loves him and understands his quirks Tourettes Syndrome. So grateful she’s in his life.

Art’s piano recital today
Art would tell you it went “horribly” because he messed up a couple times. But listen to the beauty that came out of our little boy today! Jessica and I just watched this video together and we melted. He doesn’t speak this language when he practices at home, but when he’s in front of people he plays gorgeously, with real expression and understanding. It’s wonderful and something that makes us proud of him and happy to hear.
