Goodbye cribs.

Tonight Bailey and Netta will be sleeping in real beds for the first time. We built this thing from IKEA a couple days ago and it’s hard to keep them off of it. Here they are whipping their heads up and down. sleeping…WAKE UP!…sleeping…WAKE UP!

Twin Parenting Milestone

Tonight I sat a girl on the changing table and said, "ready for a new diaper, Bailey?"

"Netta," said Netta, staring back at me. I was corrected!
Then later, as we were getting ready to read books: "Bailey, get that big book to read."
"Netta," she said sternly.
Corrected again!
Ok, sorry Netta. I will try and do better…

Arthur’s chaotic seventh birthday party.

This Saturday we had a fantastically chaotic dance party for Arthur’s seventh birthday. We ended up with approximately twice as many kids as would be ideal for a dance party (we invited siblings of Art’s friends…), so at times it was quite loud and a little out of control. I think all the kids had a pretty awesome time, but next year we will certainly adjust our approach. Here are some photos:
