Art’s camera

Recently an old camera of ours resurfaced. Art had found it and started taking photos of things with it again. And they’re great. I love they way he just looks at something and then takes it’s photo. No trying to get all fancy with angles or light. It’s a fun window into what he sees and what he thinks is worth remembering. And of course I edited these down lots so these are also what I think is good. He probably would’ve edited an entirely different set of photos.

Anyway, I’m going to post these over the next few days since there are lots.

The inside of my mouth.

Are Netta and Bailey identical twins?

We’re going to find out soon! We just sent off a couple little vials of their saliva for a DNA test. They had their own placentas and sacks which makes it less likely they’re identical, but it’s still possible and, as you can see from these photos I collected from their short three lives, they often LOOK identical. As I posted on Facebook, you are welcome to offer a guess. As soon as we get the results I’ll post again!
ben!

Art had a birthday

it’s true, November 29, 2013, Arthur turned 8. A symmetrical number, 2 cubed, etc etc. We had a gathering a week later further away from Thanksgiving. Fun times. I built a nice big cardboard maze in our basement (photos of that eventually). A highly entertaining thing for a bunch of kids. We asked them all to arrive in pajamas and a sleeping bag, had them watch a movie (The Croods). And Jessica cranked out a bunch of homeade pizza.

Arthur is a great boy. A funny, sensitive, loving boy. I’m proud to be his Papa and I know Jessica is proud to be his Mama.
