Tomorrow me and Lewis and Arthur return home from our vacation in Arkansas. It has been good fun having this special time with those boys. We went to devils den State Park twice, a beautiful place. I’ll share some photos of that at some point. Anyway, just wanted to share this postcard we got today from Netta.

We split the family up along gender lines for spring break. Jess in MPLS with Bailey and Netta, I drove with the boys back to my childhood home in Fayetteville, Arkansas to be with my ma. We’ve been having a lovely time riding scooters around and soaking in Nanna’s new hot tub.

Leave Bailey and Netta alone in a room with markers and this is what happens.

Netta and Bailey have eagles eyes for their letter. Netta’s is ‘N’, Bailey’s is ‘B’. We’ll be driving down the road and Bailey will see a sign and say, “My B!” It’s fun and hilarious. We haven’t really gone out of our way to teach them about letters, they just seem really interested. As we were leaving the bathroom at the Y the other day Netta stopped me to point out her N. Nice find, Netta!
