Just wanted to give an update on Art’s latest language additions.

“Noo-noo” n. Noodles
“Wa-oo” n. Water
“Nih” v. Nurse
“Nih” n. Knee

He also has a few commands. One which we just started using a week ago has been fully integrated into his communication – “Help, please!” which, when he says it, sounds like “Up-bee!” He says that a lot now. His other new words he usually only says if you say it first, except for knee. If he bumps his knee he’ll hold it and tell us, “Nih!” And he’ll say water if he sees a glass or bottle of it and wants a drink.

A whole egg, 1/4 piece of toast, two sections of grapefruit, a 4 oz. yogurt and about 1/4 cup of applesauce. Remember, a toddler’s stomach is the size of his fist. In Art’s case, that is disproportionately large.

Ben was out of town for the last four+ days. It sucked being a single Mom, but it was a blast seeing them reunited! They both laughed as hard as their bodies would allow just seeing each other! Now Art’s running around naked while Ben wrangles him into the tub. I’m glad everyone’s home!

My second Mother’s day in my life as a mom. Yeah! Art gave me a lovely present – he slept in until 6:50am. Here’s some recent pictures;
